Now that we're done formulating our Business Model Canvas hypothesis, it's time to test it. We had a discussion last time in our meet on Messenger about our plans on how we will do it.

We watched all the videos posted in Google Classroom which are very helpful in testing our hypothesis. We formulated interview questions for our prospective customers based on the ideas we got from the videos. Our respondents are students and workers who do or need help in editing (photos and videos), graphic designing and PowerPoint presentations. We need 30-50 respondents but in case it exceeded, it would be okay. We end up using 19 questions for Customer Discovery Survey.
Based on the results of the survey, 46% of the respondents tried photo and video editing and PowerPoint presentation. 92.6% said that these are very important in their studies or work. 87% of them encountered problems in doing these because they experienced difficulties in thinking of ideas for design and it is very time consuming. 94.4% said that they are familiar of editing apps such as Picsart and Canva and they used these to help them in editing and designing. However, 55.6% of them are intermediate when it comes in expertise.
Therefore, we thought that our services will be very helpful to them. We will focus more on powerpoint and photo/video editing commissions. We will stick to our value propositions and for the other parts of the business model canvas, we will make small changes.
